PRG EML Productions and Sennheiser Belgium on Night of the Proms.

Last week I was sent to Antwerp sportpaleis.
The mission: to provide technical and backstage coverage of the Night of the Proms (NOTP), a yearly returning large concert by PRG EML productions. Another part of the brief was t
o follow and document a group of sennheiser invitees making a backstage and onstage visit, with a focus on the abundant wireless sennheiser material used on the production.
For this particular brief they were looking for an experienc
ed photographer who had to have extensive technical knowledge and was in tune with the particularities of a production this size.
Because of my professional background as a light and stage tech and my phototechnical knowledge neccessary to tackle such a venue, where lighting conditions are far from easy, the results are very satisfatory for all involved.

From empty venue welcoming the Antwerp Philarmonics and Radio Minerva’s DJ Piet Keizer over a luxurious dinner followed by Brussels Jazz orchestra, finishing witha party hosted by DJ Dunja.

This summer I went on tour again, building big temporary steel constructions for StageCo, this time for a well known boys band.

4 Dagen cultuur met grote C tijdens de openingsfestiviteiten van het nieuwe Museum Aan de Stroom onder supervisie van Antwerpen Open. Ondermeer een blik achter de schermen bij het inrichten van de site, beelden van de evenementen* die plaatsvonden op en rond de Hanzestedeplaats en uiteraard het vuurwerk! 384 foto’s, take your time!

Cirkvost Epicycle show/Lensbaby madness

Ik heb enige tijd geleden een lensbaby composer besteld, die is gisteren toegekomen. Toeval wil dat ik ‘s avonds nar Epicycle, de luchtacrobatieën van Cirkvost ging kijken op de Zomer van Antwerpen. Toen bleek dat ze foto’s (zonder flits) toestonden, meteen maar camera bovengehaald en beginnen proberen. Het resultaat staat hieronder.

Vandaag een circustentje gezet, mooi ding, met een buitenskelet en hangend dak. Voor Cirkvost op de zomer van Antwerpen. Ik denk dat het de moeite wordt. Zeker gaan kijken!
